BRICKELL AVENUE BRIDGE PROJECT COMPLETED!

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) successfully completed a bridge rehabilitation project along the Brickell Avenue Bridge. The project began in February 2020 and cost an estimated $4 million. Seacoast, Inc. was the contractor. FDOT completed this project on budget with the support of the community and elected officials.

The following scope of work was performed on this project: adding pedestrian gates, repairing mechanical and electrical bridge components, painting the bridge and replacing lighting at the Tequesta family sculpture, bridge barrier and Riverwalk.
